If you agree with these suggestions, please submit them to the developer to request the changes, maybe hearing from more customers will help encourage the fix. Those are my main gripes about the game, I've submitted them as feature+bug fix requests a couple of times since last year and haven't heard or seen anything. I would very much like a simple menu interface when I first start up the game rather than being forced to -sometimes repeatedly- reload the space station map in order to make changes or check for active game hosts. This becomes a significant problem when there are connectivity issues or when you are downloading and applying new mods, which then require you to unload and then reload the station map or even reload the entire game to apply correctly. My only real complaints are that there are a lot of problems and bugs with the modding system, and also the fact that you don't have the option to load the game directly into a menu, you always have to load the space station map first and have your character physically access any of the game features exclusively through in game interface terminals within the map.
I've been playing since alpha+early access and the game has made very impressive strides and development since then.
Great game that seems to be adding new content almost time I revisit it.
